ARF works as a breeze between the needy students with interested donors while ensuring financial assistance is directed to the right person and utilized for the right cause. The ARF activities are fully transparent as the donors are eventually connected to their sponsored students at some point.
One key criterion for receiving this financial assistance is that the gross earnings of the student’s family must not exceed Taka 40000/ (fourty Thousand).
ARF financial assistance comes in following categories
Pocket Money:
Who are entitled ?
a) Students from School & pre-university students from college
b) 1st year students from college & universities studying degree courses.
Amount allocated per month:
School – 2000 taka
College – 3000 taka
University – 5000 taka
Scholarship:
Who are entitled?
Madrasah students.
Amount allocated per month:
Non-residential students: Tuition fees + Taka 2000 pocket money
Residential students: Full Fees or taka 5000 whichever is lower.
Financial Assistance: Steps to follow
STEP1.
Interested students submit the application online at: or Download the application form from ARF website, fill up and forward to ARF via email:
ARF assesses the applications including background check of the students and uploads the successful applicants’ profiles onto the ARF website
STEP 3.
Interested donors visit ARF website, select the student (s) they want to sponsor and respond to ARF by clicking on the link.
STEP 4.
ARF contacts the students, their donors and the educational institutes, making arrangement to receive funds from the donors and channel them to the respective students and institutions in a timely manner.
STEP 5.
Students’ profiles are updated on the ARF website adding the donors name & domicile country. The list of the sponsored students and their donors are regularly updated and maintained in a file separately and accessible to the donors even when the photos may have taken down due to space constraints.
STEP 6.
ARF ensures the sponsored students receive the committed support in time and keep record by preserving the receipts & making them available for donors viewing and during audit.
STEP 7.
ARF works closely with the educational institutes & gathers feedback on the progress of the students. The institutes’ principals complete a progress report for each student at the year end and forward to ARF. This form is accessible to the respective donors.
STEP 8.
Meeting (mostly online) is called when needed and all parties, the student, the guardian, the donor, the Institute principal and the ARF rep are to be present at the meeting. Minutes of the meeting are to be recorded and preserved for review.
